It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Annie Lou Boudreaux of Morse announces her passing from this life on Aug. 9, 2018, at the age of 80.

Funeral services for Annie Lou Boudreaux, 80, of Morse were held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018 at 2 p.m., with Reverend Kevin Colson officiating.

A gathering of family and friends was held at the funeral home beginning on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 4:30-10 p.m. Visitation resumed on Sunday, Aug.12, from 8 a.m. until the time of her service at 2 p.m.

Burial followed in Hanks Cemetery.

Annie was born in Cameron to Eddie B. Jinks and Ethel Stanley Jinks on July 31, 1938.

She worked as a caretaker, a job which she enjoyed. Annie loved to cook, garden and watch Westerns and soap operas. She especially loved spending time with all of her family. Annie was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Annie is survived by her two sons, Curtis Boudreaux of Morse and Edward Boudreaux (Susan) of Iota; her three daughters, Evelyn Boudreaux of Killeen, Texas, Ethelyn Esthay (Johnathan) of Jennings and Amanda Sonnier (Tony) of Jennings; her two sisters, Nola Ham of Keithville and Carol Jean Istre of Blanchard; as well as her 14 grandchildren, Edward Jr., Chad, Jeremy, Derek, Carrie, Connie, Shelly, Elmer Jr., Ashley, Christopher, Roy, Stephen, Dexter and Ashley.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Ethel Jinks; her beloved husband, Curtis Boudreaux, Sr.; her two brothers, John Kelvin Jinks, Elvin B. Jinks; and her grandchild, Cherayelle Winston.

Carrying Annie to her final resting place in Hanks Cemetery were Edward Boudreaux, Sr., Curtis Boudreaux, Ed Boudreaux, Jr., John Esthay, Roy Loupe and Cody Navarro.
