Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara T. Doucet, 69, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018, in Miguez Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be held from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday and will continue from 8 a.m. Thursday until time of services. A rosary, led by Suzanne Doucet, will be recited at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Doucet died at 8:45 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2018, in Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mrs. Doucet was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a Jennings High School graduate. She retired as a clerical typist for the Jefferson Davis School Board. She loved to garden, read and her pets. She made a mean peanut butter pie. Survivors include her husband, Robert Doucet of Jennings; daughter, Stacey Adair of Woodville, Miss.; one son, Bryan Adair of Natchez, Miss.; two sisters, Debbie Vincent of Jennings and Carol (Don) Guidry; two grandchildren, Mary Hunter and Mallory Catherine Adair; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Thibodeaux Tuthill. Pallbearers will be David and Sam Doucet, Keegan and Ricky Neal, Jake Duhon and Chris Guidry.
