Connie Michelle Rubin Strauss

Funeral services for Connie Michelle Rubin Strauss, 59, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2018, in Union Baptist Church, with Rev. Gerald Perkins officiating.

Visitation will be held in the church from 8 a.m. until time of funeral service on Monday, May 21, 2018.

Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery under direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings.

Mrs. Strauss entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 16, 2018, in her residence.

She was a native of Jennings and reared in the Power House Church of God in Christ. She was a former bank teller for Woodforest Bank.

She leaves to cherish her memories two children, Maegan (Michael) Jackson of Baton Rouge and Robert Da’Ron Strauss, of Jennings; her father, Robert Rubin of Jennings; three sisters, Deborah Botley of Lake Charles, Sharon Rubin of New York, N.Y., and Shelia Thibodeaux of Jennings; and three grandchildren, Camdyn Jackson, Robert Strauss, Jr., and Da’Ron Strauss.
