Funeral services for Mrs. Deborah Wilson, 97, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at Antioch Baptist Church, with Rev. Michael Williams, pastor, officiating.

Visitation was held in the church from 8-11 a.m.

Burial was in Antioch Church Cemetery under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings.

Mrs. Wilson entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones.

She accepted Christ at the age of 12 years and was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church where she served as Deaconess, Choir Member, Usher, and Mission Dept. She was faithful to her church for over 80 years until her death and she loved her family and church family. She was a domestic housewife and was later employed by Holiday Inn Express in Jennings for 10 years.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Everline Beverly; husband, Lloyd Wilson; son, Tyrone Wilson; three brothers, Raymond and Isreal Buchanan and Michael Beverly;and two sisters, Effie Poma and Ruth Beverly.

Mrs. Wilson was a joy to know and her memories will live on in the hearts of her daughter-in-law, Tamelia Tyler; grandson, Walter Lee Wilson and his children, Tyrone, Desean, Tysean and Jasmine Wilson, all of Spotsylvania, Vir.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
