JDP voters to cast ballots in Nov. 6 Congressional Open Primary

Voters in Jeff Davis Parish will head to the polls this Tuesday, Nov. 6 to vote in the 2018 Congressional Open Primary. The ballot on Nov. 6 includes six constitutional amendments, as well as several statewide and parishwide ballot measures, according to the Louisiana Secretary of State’s Office. Additionally, each of Louisiana’s 64 parishes will vote on a measure to authorize fantasy sports contests in each parish. According to SOS, voters will get the chance to decide on the following races this fall:

On Election Day, voters will be asked to identify themselves with a picture ID such as a valid Louisiana driver’s license or some other type of picture ID that shows the voter’s name and address, according to the ROV. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. on Tuesday. A voter can determine which precinct they are in by visiting SOS’s website at http://voterportal.sos.la.gov or by calling the Jeff Davis Parish ROV office during business hours at
