LAKE ARTHUR - Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Duhon LeBlanc, 81, of Lake Arthur were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.

Visitation began Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, at Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur from 10 a.m. unti11:30 p.m. to leave for the church. A rosary was recited at 11 a.m.

Burial followed in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Mrs. LeBlanc was born Aug. 10, 1939, in Lake Arthur to parents Arthur and Estella LeMaire Duhon. She was a stay-at-home mom and wife and was very devoted to her husband and children. She loved visiting and traveling with family and friends. Church time and family gatherings were some of the things she also enjoyed.

Mrs. Duhon leaves behind to cherish her memory three daughters, Cindy (Lane) Oliver of Jennings, Michele (Barry) Oliver of Lake Arthur and Debra (Kevin) Lacombe of Lake Arthur; one son, Arthur (Dana) LeBlanc of Lake Arthur; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Linda Leblanc Harelson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald LeBlanc; her parents; a sister, Florence Benoit; and a brother, Charles Duhon.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to her caregivers, Rachel Dugas, Bobbie Granger, Judy Badon, Candice Istre and Joanne Louviere.
