It’s with the heaviest of hearts and great sadness that the family of Charles Joseph Daigle announces his passing from this life into the arms of the angels on April 7, 2020.

Graveside services for Charles Joseph Daigle, 50, of Jennings will be held at St. Jules/Tee Mamou Cemetery Monday, April 13, 2020, at 2:30 p.m., with Father Paul LaFleur officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings Monday, April 13, 2020, from 12:30-2 p.m.

Charles loved fishing, hunting, traveling, having family get-togethers, barbecuing and boiling crawfish. Charles also loved visiting with friends and spoiling his adopted nephew, “Harley.” His greatest joy came from making memories with all of his family. He was a kind a loving man who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Those left to cherish those memories are his moth

Those left to cherish those memories are his mother, Mary Alice Fontenot of Welsh; his brother, Howard Daigle (Betty) of Plaquemine; his four sisters, Sally Porter of Jennings, Susan Smith of Jennings, Wanda Daigle of Jennings and Brenda Daigle Murry of Lake Charles; as well as numerous extend family and friends.

Charles is now rejoicing with the family that preceded him in death, including his father, Ray Thomas Daigle; one brother, Michael Daigle; his sister, Debra Sonnier; and his grandparents, Houston and Hazel Fontenot and Ursin and Emma Daigle.
