A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Cody Blake LeJeune, 39, of Jennings at 2 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 6, 2022, in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, with Rev. Roland Vaughn officiating.

Visitation for Mr. LeJeune was held Thursday, Jan. 5, 2022, from 4-9 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume today, Friday from 8 a.m. until time to leave for the church at 1:30 p.m.

Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mr. LeJeune was born April 25, 1983, in Jennings to Bryan LeJeune and Jacqueline Harrington LeJeune.

He was a high school graduate of Lake Arthur High and went to barber school.

He served his country honorably in both the United States Army and United States Navy.

He loved his dogs, Zeus, and Ozzie. He also enjoyed cooking and LSU football, but his passion was cutting hair.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Bryan and Jacqueline LeJeune of Lake Arthur; his beloved son, Ethan LeJeune and his brother, Dylan (Caitlyn) LeJeune of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Duford and Louella Istre Harrington and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Broussard LeJeune.
