Felicia Marie Fruge Conner

It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Felicia Marie Conner announces her passing from this life on May 24, 2019, at the age of 50.

Funeral services for Felicia Marie Fruge Conner, 50, of Jennings were held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings on Monday, May 27, 2019, at 3 p.m., with Father Susil Fernando officiating.

A gathering of family and friends was held at the funeral home Monday, May 27, from 9 a.m. until the time of her service at 3 p.m.

Burial followed in Andrus Cove Cemetery.

Felicia was born in Jennings to Leonard and Leona Dupuis Fruge on Sep. 17, 1968. She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to the care of her family. She also loved to work on various arts and craft projects. She was a very crafty person. She enjoyed crocheting and watching reality TV but her biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a kind and loving person and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Felicia is survived by her beloved husband, Harold Conner, Jr. of Ponchatoula; one son, Harold Conner, III (Stephanie) of Ponchatoula; one daughter, Tiffany Williams (Thomas) of Albany; her two precious grandchildren, Alexis Conner and Valerie Williams; and her five brothers, Rodney Fruge (Kathleen) and David Fruge (Lynn) both of Welsh, Ronnie Fruge (Diane) of Orange, Texas, and Leonard Fruge and Christopher Fruge, both of Jennings.

Felicia was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Leona Dupuis Fruge; nephew, Brandon Fruge; and niece, Stacy Fruge.
