Please wear a mask and practice social distancing in respect for all those attending this service.

Jean, a lifelong resident of Evangeline, was born Oct. 3, 1935, to the late Clifford and Amy (Pelsia) Hebert. She was a 1954 graduate of Iota High School.

She was a kind, loving and giving woman with an abundance of compassion for everyone. Reading, sewing and cooking were some of the things she enjoyed. Spending time with her family and friends was most important to her. Jean was an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. After retirement form Jennings City Hall, Jean occasionally worked as an election commissioner and remained active as a volunteer for Family and Community Trail Blazers and the Jeff Davis Parish Fair for many years. She also worked part time for Gulf Coast Social Services and Angel Healing Hands.

Jean is survived by her three devoted children, Pam Noel (Sammy), Troy Andrepont (Angie) and Gayla Doucet (Gerald). She had the loving affection of three grandchildren, Trent Roy, Alaina Doucet and Amy Doucet. She was also blessed with her younger sister, Yvonne Lounsberry.

Jean was preceded in death by Warren, her beloved husband of 32 years; her parents, Clifford and Amy P. Hebert; and her brother, Wilton “Wicky” Hebert.

Carrying Jean to her eternal resting place will be Sammy Noel, Gerald Doucet, Roderick Andrepont, Randy Andrepont, Creg Durio and Conner Popeck.

Honorary pallbearers will be Trent Roy, Beau Hebert, Kade Smith, Shane Andrepont and Gavin LeBlanc.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Jennings American Legion Hospital staff, ICU doctors and nurses, Fr. Paul LaFleur, Fr. Trey Ange, Fr. Matthew Barzare, Fr. Manny Fernandez, Lisa Hebert and Karen Fruge.
