Jane E. Doucet

Memorial services for Mrs. Jane E. Doucet, 54, of Jennings will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019, at 11 a.m. in St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, with Rev. John Clark officiating.

Visitation for Mrs. Doucet will begin at 9 a.m. at the church and continue until service time.

A lifelong resident of Jennings, she worked as a dental assistant. Jane was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She especially enjoyed gardening and spending long summer days outdoors.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Joby Doucet of Jennings; her daughter, Brittny Doucet; two sisters, Jacqueline Rufey Cleeves of Michigan and Jennifer Rufey Deshotel of Jennings; and a granddaughter, Taylor Grace Rose.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Rufey and her mother, Phyllis Munkers, both of England; a brother, Robert Rufey; and her faithful companion, her dog, Daisy.
