Jeanne Lopez

It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Jeanne Lopez announces her passing from this life on April 1, 2020, at the age of 59.

Graveside services will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Jennings Saturday, April 4, 2020, at 6 p.m.

A gathering will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Saturday, April 4, 2020, from 4-5:45 p.m.

Jeanne was born in Jennings to Edward Lopez and Joyce Gatte Lopez on July 3, 1960. Jeanne worked as a forklift operator for Capital Manufacturing. She loved going to the casino, eating out, going to basketball games and four-wheeling. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jeanne is survived by her nephew, Allen Lopez (Sarah) of Hathaway; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Joyce Lopez; and her brother, Wendell James Lopez.
