Funeral services for Mr. Lenis Lane Landry, 79, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2019, in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, with Rev. Charles McMillin Officiating.

Funeral home visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. today, Tuesday, and will resume from 8 a.m. Wednesday until the time of church service.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Mr. Landry was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a graduate of Iota High School Class of 1957. He held college degrees in accounting and education.He enjoyed coaching his kids and followed them throughout their sports. He mentored many kids in life, education and careers. He had many talents and used them freely to help anyone in need. He and his wife traveled the country square dancing for over 40 years and made many friends throughout the country. He enjoyed traveling from Alaska to Acapulco and Europe, visiting most of the United States.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Audrey Ann Miller Landry; three sons, Louis (Susan) Landry of Atlanta, Ga., Patrick (Lanell) Landry of Lake Charles and Ronald (Claudia) Landry of Zachary; a son-in-law, Dan Huseby; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mayo J. Landry, Sr. and Annie Mae English Landry; a daughter, Claudia Huseby; one sister, Della Ruth Guidry; and one brother, Mayo J. Landry, Jr.
