GUEYDAN - The family and friends of Lester Paul Foreman are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from his earthly life on July 23, 2019, at the age of 64.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lester Paul Foreman of Gueydan was held at St. Peters Catholic Church in Gueydan Friday, July 26, 2019, at 2 p.m., with Father Corey Campeaux officiating.

A gathering of family and friends was held Thursday, July 25, 2019, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. by the Knights of Columbus. Visitation resumed Friday, July 26, at 8 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 2 p.m.

Burial followed in Gueydan Cemetery.

Lester was born in Abbeville to Minice “T-Man” Foreman and Hilda Trahan Foreman on Nov. 13, 1954. Lester was a member of Knights of Columbus. He loved the outdoors, especially when he was hunting or fishing. He also loved to cook and visit with friends. Most of all, he loved the time he was able to spend with his family. Lester was a kind and loving soul who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Lester is survived by his son, Jeremy Foreman of Gueydan; his daughter, Jodie F. Robbins (Roy) of Crowley; his two sisters, Judy Guidry of Gueydan and Arline Bellard (Daniel) of Lake Arthur; and his seven grandchildren, Joseph, Joshua, Rachelle, Emma, Madilyn, Krystian and Katie.

Lester is now reunited with his family that preceded him in death, including his parents, Minice and Hilda Foreman.

Carrying Lester to his final resting place will be Jeremy Foreman, Joseph Robbins, Scott Sonnier, Andy Guidry, Isaac DePerrodil and Joseph Breaux.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Robbins, Roy Robbins and Bennett Herbert.
