The Family wishes to acknowledge the anniversary of Henry’s passing.

The previous Graveside Service limited attendance due to Covid-19.

Henry Beecher Peterson was the fourth son born to Rev. Dr. Jeff and Laurene Peterson. He was baptized at an early age and was a member of Mt. Triumph Baptist Church where he was a faithful member and deacon. Most recently he was a member and deacon at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Mermentau, La. where Rev. Dr. Stacey Poullard is pastor. Mr. Peterson retired from the US Air Force after over 22 years and served in the Vietnam War and received a Bronze Star, two Air Medals, other citations and awards. He was the Safety Director at Leevac Shipyard for 20 years and worked for the City of Jennings, La. as Fire Prevention and City Inspector. He served on the Civil Service Board and founder of the Community Alliance Program.

He leaves to mourn Carolyn Martin, his life-long companion, friend and soul mate.

A son, Craig Waldon; one granddaughter Kesha Fuller; two great granddaughters Samara and Saliyah Fuller, and a host of relatives and friends.
