Funeral services for Rev. Gloria Ann Duval Sexton, 86, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, in Miguez Funeral Home, with Rev. Austin Spell officiating.

Funeral home visitation was held from 4-9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, and will continue from 8 a.m. Friday until time of services.

Burial will be in Andrus Cove Cemetery.

Rev. Sexton died at 4 p.m. in Jeff Davis Living Center.

Rev. Sexton was a lifelong resident of Jennings.She loved sewing, crocheting, reading, knitting and shrimping with her husband. She was an ordained minister of the Assembly of God.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Joseph Roy Sexton; four daughters, Angela (Roger) Mier of Welsh, Melanie (Ray) Fontenot, Roilyn (Darrell) Self and Gloria (Joseph Smith), all of Jennings; two sons, Felix “Bert” (Bernadette) Sexton, Sr., of Leesville and Granville (Ruby Cormier) Sexton of Lake Arthur; one sister, Wanda Gaspard of Crowley; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Bernice Arbaugh Duval; three brothers, Nolan, Hal and Golan Dale Duval; and one grandson, Jayce Ryan Dupuis.
