Rosemary Elaine Breaux, 75, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, at her home in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Mermentau at 11 a.m. today, Friday, Sept. 23, 2022.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church today, Friday, Sept. 23, 2022, from 10-11 a.m.

Rosemary will be laid to rest in Mermentau Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 23, 1946, in Maybee, Mich., to William and Lauraressa McDonald.

Rosemary grew up on a farm in Michigan. She started her family in Toledo, Ohio, and then relocated to Florida over 40 years ago. She retired from Olive Garden as a server a few years ago.

Rosemary loved to read, bake, travel and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was full of life and wonder, always ready for the next adventure. She was a caring, loving, wise, nurturing mother, grandmother and wife. She touched many lives by her kindness, grace and beauty.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lauraressa and her three brothers, Bill, George and Don.

Rosemary is survived by her husband of 30 years, Terry; daughter Michelle LaVere of Palm City, Fla., and son Brian (Melinda) Spitler of Fairborn, Ohio.
