Vincent Wayne Broussard

LAKE ARTHUR - Funeral services for Mr. Vincent Wayne Broussard, 69, of Lake Arthur will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, at Miguez Funeral Home, with Rev. Roland Vaughn officiating.

Visitation for Mr. Broussard will be held today, Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Mr. Broussard was born Dec. 2, 1951, in Lake Arthur to Curtis and Clara Bouley Broussard. He was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur.

Wayne was a carpenter and handyman by trade. He loved playing music on his drums and he enjoyed cooking. He was a friend to all.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Tina Broussard; his mother, Clara Broussard of Lake Arthur; one daughter, Connie Hoffman and husband David of Groves, Texas; stepson, Hutch Pellerin and his wife Meghan of Lake Arthur; two sisters, Shirley Horton of Beaumont, Texas, and Jackie Johnson and husband Roger of Kinder; two brothers, Ricky Broussard and wife Angie of Jennings and Brian Broussard and wife Susan of Lake Arthur; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Broussard of Lake Arthur; a son, Roderick “Pig” Broussard; one grandchild, Noah Pellerin; and his father-in-law Roycie Pellerin.

Carrying Wayne to his place of eternal rest will be Brian Broussard, Roger Johnson, Ricky Boudreaux, Gary Guidry, Boo Monceaux and Terry Monceaux.
