Funeral services for Mr. Roy Henry Abraham, 77, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018, in Church of Christ, 1812 N. Cutting, with Pastor Kevin Mitchell officiating.

Visitation will be held at the church from 8: a.m. Saturday until time of services.

Burial will be in Peterson Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Mr. Abraham passed away at 5:52 a.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018, in Heart Hospital in Lafayette.

Mr. Abraham was a native of Breaux Bridge and a resident of Jennings most of his life. He was a retired welder. He loved to dress nice, ride in clean vehicles and was always washing his truck.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Brown Abraham; three daughters, Shena Edwards of Lake Charles, Shelly Lewis of Jennings, Miesha Baker of North Carolina; five sons, Troy (Mary) Smith of Baytown, Texas, Tevis (Blanquetta) Abraham of Baton Rouge, Kerman Abraham, Reginald (Cynthia) Mallet of Jennings and Cole Gloston of Jennings; three sisters, Willie Mae Alexander of Breaux Bridge, Joyce Alexander of Jennings and Earline Miller of Temper, Texas; two brothers, Bradley Abraham, Jr. and Jerry Abraham, both of Jennings; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Abraham was preceded in death by his parents, Bradley and Lena Batiste Abraham; and three sisters, Zenobia Alexander, Doris Palfrey and Elsie Soulaire.
