Famed children’s author Theodore “Dr. Seuss” Geisel would have turned 120 on Mar. 2, and the Jefferson Davis Parish Library celebrated the “Green Eggs and Ham” writer’s birthday week with a Bookmobile stop in Raymond at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. The library’s “Bookmobile Lady” Cynthia Fogleman helped lead the “Seusstastic” event for attendees including Hathaway sisters Elizabeth and Arabella Ravia, 5 and 3, respectively, and Michael Compton, 6, of Welsh.
