After serving as principal of Jennings HIgh School (JHS) for two years, Wilbert Gilbeaux has been named a state semi-finalist for Louisiana Principal of the Year.
He was nominated by Superintendent of Schools Kirk Credeur.
“The reason I nominated Principal Gilbeaux is because of the fantastic job he does,” said Credeur. “He has an outstanding work ethic, the way he attends to matters and the fact that he is committed to the students and the community. This recognition does not come from outperforming your peers. It’s about recognizing the best of the best.”
