HAYNESVILLE — The Welsh Greyhounds battled for four quarters here Friday night but could not overcome the top-ranked Haynesville Golden Tornado, as they fell by a 30-15 score in the quarterfinal round of the Division IV non-select state playoffs. Welsh finishes the season with an overall record of 7-6, while Haynesville will advance to the semifinals with a perfect 13-0 record. They will play host to General Trass in the battle to see who gets to the Superdome.
