This is where we made a home and where I experienced most of my childhood and all of my teenage years. I am the oldest of six children, I have one biological sibling and five adopted siblings. Although this does not define who I am, it plays an integral role in who I am and how I view myself and the world around me.

LEESVILLE – The Lacassine Cardinals season came to an end on Monday when they got popped by the No. 2-ranked Anacoco Indians by a final of 11-1. The Cards gave Anacoco all they could handle for the first three-and-a-half innings of play, but a six run outburst eventually blew the game away. The Indians scored a single run in the bottom of the fifth to complete the 10-run rule and will advance to the Regional Round of the Class B Playoffs. The Indians scored two runs in the second and third innings, two coming on a tape measure shot by pitcher Drew Tebbe. Anacoco would then pour on the runs in the fourth with their six runs.
