WELSH — The Welsh Greyhoundsareridingasixgame winning streak heading into this week’s district matchup with the Vinton Lions. Welsh dropped the first two games of the season, but have come out on top since then. The Lions are heading in the opposite direction, as they have a 1-7 season record and no district wins.

Save the Children Head Start in Jennings showed their support by having a week of fun and wacky dress up days, bringing in the Jennings High School Band to kick off the week. Public officials were also invited to read to the children.
