GUEYDAN - The Elton Indians took another step in their preparation for the upcoming season opener with a 6-0 win over North Vermillion High School’s junior varsity at the Luddy Herpin Memorial Jamboree Thursday night. The Indians broke out of the gate quick to gain their only score of the game, and rode some big plays by their defense to secure the victory.
Elton Head Coach Donnie Bruchhaus said earlier in the week that he wanted to see offensive improvements from his club in the jamboree, and discussed how they made those strides Thursday night.
