Two parish FFA chapters have been making waves, placing well in competitions across Louisiana.

Hathaway High School recently held an inauguration for its newest Jr. Beta students. These young learners represent some of the brightest minds in their school.

Santa and Mrs. Claus have been busy this holiday season visiting libraries throughout the parish to give children an opportunity to meet the Christmas couple.

The Jennings High School FFA recently competed in the Area III Leadership Development Events, continuing to make a name for the chapter.

The Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Daughters 1468 honored two of its members for their contributions to the group throughout the year. Pam Bergeaux (left) was named Daughter of the Year and Barbra Lantz was awarded Worker of the Year.

The Jeff Davis Parish Department of Special Services celebrates its students every day and for the holidays, one student is chosen to create a holiday card that incorporates the essence of the season.
