Prudhomme receives “Shero” award
Geneva “Kitty” Prudhomme recently received the State of Louisiana “Shero” Award from the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxillary at the state conference in Marksville. Prudhomme was nominated by Grand Lady Sherry Guidry, who leads Court 48 in Welsh.

Pellerin named Knight of the Month
During the May meeting of Knights of Columbus (KC) Council 2012 from Our Lady Help of Christians (OLHC) Parish in Jennings, Father Keith Pellerin (right) was recognized as the Council’s Knight of the Month for April 2023. KC District Deputy and Past Grand Knight Carl Benoit (left) presented the award to Pellerin after mass on May 25. Pellerin has been a Priest of the Roman Catholic Church for almost 25 years. He has been an active member of the Knights of Columbus since August 16, 1999 and is an honorary life member of the order and a Fourth Degree Knight. He currently serves asCouncil 2012’s Chaplain and as Faithful Friar for Monsignor Joseph Peeters Assembly #332 of the 4th Degree Knights.
