Albert Joseph ’T-Boy’ Seilhan

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. today, Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota for Albert Joseph “T-Boy” Seilhan, 86, who passed away Aug. 28, 2021, at Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Fr. Joseph Thierry, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota, will officiate the services.

The family is requesting visiting hours to be held today, Friday from 9 a.m. until 12:45 p.m., with a rosary recited at 10 a.m. at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Iota.

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

T-Boy was born in Iota and resided in Jennings. He served proudly the United States in the Navy. He was best known for his gardening and love of hummingbirds. Mr. Seilhan will truly by missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by two children, Carla Seilhan Berkel and her husband Kevin of Blue Springs, Mo., and David Wesley Seilhan and his wife Tonya of Lawton, Okla.; one sister, Gloria Doskocil of Diana, Texas; one brother, Huey Seilhan of West Plains, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Mr. Seilhan was preceded in death by two children, Peggy Ann Seilhan and Kenneth Albert Seilhan; his parents, Walter and Ozemia Leger Seilhan; one sister, Barbara Seilhan; and three brothers, Clifton, Francis and James Seilhan.
