JENNINGS — It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share with you that Bennett Duhon, Jr. left this earthly life on Jan. 9, 2024. Bennett was born in Crowley on November 7, 1975 to Bennett Duhon, Sr. and Debra Arneaux. He served our country honorably in the Army. After finishing his service to our country, Bennett went on to work as an LPN and he was a great provider for his family. Bennett loved the outdoors especially if he was fishing, or hunting. His greatest joys came from spending time with his family and friends making memories. He was a devoted husband, father and friend who was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bennett is survived by his wife, Mandy Reed Duhon; his parents, Debra Arneaux LeBoeuf (Mike) and Bennett Duhon, Sr. (Darnell); his three sons, Ryan Duhon, Alex Duhon, Luke Duhon; his two daughters, Katelin Duhon and Mya Duhon; his sister, Angela Constantine (Kyle); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

A Celebration of Bennett’s life will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the St. Anthony Cemetery. Those chosen to honor Bennett as his pallbearers will be David Ogea, Ryan Duhon, Alex Duhon, Kyle Constantine, Randy “Puff” Cormier and Jeff Jacobs. Honorary pallbearers will be Luke Duhon and Evan Constantine.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings beginning on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
