Betty Ann Gotreaux

JENNINGS — Betty Ann Gotreaux 69, was called home on April 29, 2024 at her residence surrounded by loved ones.
She grew up in Evangeline and lived in Jennings most of her life. She worked as a police officer in Lake Charles for several years before deciding to become a 18-wheeler truck driver. Later on in life, she worked as an aircraft mechanic for Northrup Grumman before working as a correctional officer in Allen Parish.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby LaSage, step-father, Wilson LaSage, brothers, William 'Billy' LaSage and Kenneth Clement Sr. and nephew, Greg Clement.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Tana (Marlin Sr.)White of Jennings, grandsons, Tevin Gotreaux Sr., Charles (Lana) Gotreaux and Marlin White Jr. all of Jennings, granddaugters, Alexis (Ronnie) Courville of Lake Arthur and Maryah White of Jennings, great grandchildren, Tevin Gotreaux Jr., Tiana Gotreaux, Trinidy Gotreaux, Taegan Gotreaux, Layton Gotreaux, Camden Gotreaux, Hudson Gotreaux, Silas Courville, Salem Courville and Sa'Miyah Batiste, two nephews Elray 'Boone' Clement and Kenneth James 'Doodie' Clement Jr. and one neice Cindy Lynn Clement.
Memorial services will be held in Mortuary Centery of SWLA Chapel, 16388 La. 26, in Jennings on Satuday, May 4, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a eulogy starting at 4 p.m.
