Daniel Warren Price

LAKE ARTHUR - Funeral services for Mr. Daniel Warren Price, 74, of Lake Arthur will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.

Visitation for Mr. Price will begin at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021, at Miguez Funeral Home in Lake Arthur and will end at 9 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.

Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Mr. Price was born in Lake Arthur on April 11, 1947, to Warren John and Idella Lynch Price. He graduated from high school and enlisted in the United States Navy during the Viet Nam War.

He worked as a crew boat captain for many years and was a commercial fisherman, as well. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and shrimping.

He enjoyed being with his family and was very proud of them. Mr. Price was a wildlife conservation enthusiast and a member of the VFW.

Those left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Karen Price and Angela Price LaBove; a son, Warren John Price II; three sisters, Pamela Price, Della Price Guidry and Rosalie Price Chapman; brothers, Johnny Price, Curtis Price and Wade Price; eight grandchildren; Cole, Preston, Gauge, Macie, Quincy, Kylee, Leah and Ethan; the mother of his children, Cheryl Price; and his companion for over 20 years, Sue Fontenot, and her grandchildren, Nayomie and Kaidn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Price.
