Burial followed in China Cemetery.

Deanna was born in Jennings to Donald Kennedy and Joan Reine Kennedy on Dec. 6, 1967.

Deanna was a pre-K/kindergarten teacher at James Ward Elementary for 29.5 years. She was a very passionate educator and she loved teaching. She considered her students as her own children and truly valued the influence she could make in each of their lives. She loved watching them grow and become prospering adults. Eventually getting the opportunity to teach their children brought her great joy.

Outside of her career as a teacher, Deanna loved to travel with family and go on “Girls Trips” with her friends. She also enjoyed film and television and her favorite holiday was Christmas. However, Deanna’s greatest joys came from the time spent with her family, friends and her two dogs, Odie and Ginger, as well as sharing in her students’ lives and watching them grow.

She was a kind and warm-hearted soul who will be immensely missed by all who loved her.

Those left to cherish the memories of Deanna are her mother, Joan R. Kennedy; her husband, Kevin Cinquemano; her sister, Donna Babineaux (Tony); her nieces, Ashley Medina (Al), Brittany Babineaux and Kristie Cairns (John); her sister-in-law, Margie Morvant; her brother-in-law, Sean Cinquemano (Judy); and her father-in-law, Anthony Cinquemano.

Deanna is now with the family that preceded her in death, including her father, Donald Kennedy; her son, Jared Michael Cinquemano; her brother, Robert “Bobby” Kennedy; her niece, Mindy Kennedy; and her mother-in-law, Wanda Cinquemano.
