Edwina M. “Rennie” (Davis) McIntire, age 80, of Upperstrasburg, Pa., passed away July 26, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 31, 1942 in Bruceville, Md. to the late Earl Edward and Clara Mae “Tally” (Porter) Davis.

Edwina was an LPN, a member of the Upper Strasburg Bible Church, she loved to sew and made prom dresses and also enjoyed working at the turkey farm. She loved living in Germany, canning, cooking, especially cranberry salad and stuffing balls. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was also a member of Lahmansville United Methodist Church, where she married Gary E. McIntire on September 23, 1961, and renewed their vows on their 45th wedding anniversary.

She is survived by her husband, Gary E. McIntire, to whom she would have celebrated 62 years of marriage on September 23, 2023; children, Christina McIntire of Hagerstown, Md., Timothy (Sonia) McIntire of Lake Arthur, who was previously married to a forever daughterin- law, Doris Kibler; loving daughter and best friend, Pamela McIntire Stouffer, who selflessly cared for her mother for many years until the very end, and her estranged husband, Quentin, of Upperstrasburg, and who was previously married to a forever son-in-law, David McClure and wife, Shayla; and Lori (Moore) Johnson of Woodbridge, Va.; grandchildren, Angel Fickes and husband, Michael, of Fayetteville, Pa.; Nicki Poe and deceased husband, Justin, of Chambersburg, Pa., Courtney McClure of Upperstrasburg, Pa., Chelsea McClure and fiance, Ryan Shoemaker of Hagerstown, Md. and Kirsten Tercek of Virginia Beach, Va.; great-grandchildren Caden, McKenna, Macy, Sterling, Harper, Kane, Killian, Evangeline, Ivy, Abel, Noelle, Ciara, Liliana, Zane and Jace; brother, George Kenneth Davis and wife, Kathryn “Katty” of Canaan Valley, W.Va. and many loved nieces and nephews.

Edwina was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy (Davis) Judy; grandson, Jeb McClure, and former sonin- law, Frederick “Phred” Tercek, who was married to Pamela.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg, Pa. 17257. Viewing will be held from noon until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday, July 31.
