Esther is survived by her children, Oran Boone Jr. (Linda) of Evangeline, Janice LeJeune of Iota; her five grandchildren, Roxanne Touchet (Ray), Brian LaSage (Michelle), Chris LaSage (Nancy), Chad Boone and Stacy Grant; her 10 great grandchildren, her 14 great-great grandchildren, and four more on the way; her sisters, Mildred “Midge” Falke of Deridder and Gloria Vincent; and her brother, Emery Bourque of Moss Bluff.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Esta and Lelia Bourque; her first husband, Oran “Red” Boone, Sr. and her former spouse, Hubert Clement, Sr.; her brothers, Thomas Jesse Bourque, Wallace Joseph Bourque and James Norris Bourque; and her infant sister, Joanne Bourque.

A Mass of Christian Burial to honor Esther’s life will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Evangeline on Monday, June 19 at 3 p.m. with Father Paul LaFleur officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Monday, June 19 from 9 a.m. until the time of her funeral mass at 3 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 1:30 p.m. led by the Catholic Daughters.
