A Mass of Christian burial for Rose Ann Jurls of Jennings will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings today, Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, at 2 p.m., with Father Keith Pellerin officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home today, Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of her mass, with a rosary recited at 11 a.m.

Rose will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.

Rose was born in Pine Bluff, Ark., on Nov. 24, 1923, to Leo Belvedresi and Mary Ortalani and she was called home by her heavenly father on Aug. 23, 2020.

Rose was a homemaker who dedicated her life to the care of her family. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. Rose loved to cook for her family, and she liked going to the cemetery to visit with family and friends. Her greatest joys in life came from the time she was able to spend with all of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rose is survived by her three children, Wayne Jurls (Diane) of Jennings, Larry Jurls of Jennings and Becky Daigle of Jennings; her three grandchildren, Jordan Daigle, Darby Jurls and Monica Jurls; her 11 greatgrandchildren; her two sisters, Edith Borgognoni of Clarksdale, Miss., and Lena Cash of Redfield, Ark.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Rose now rejoices in heaven with her parents, Leo Belvedresi and Mary Ortalani Belvedresi; her husband, Barnie Jurls; her grandson, Jared Daigle.

Those chosen to honor Rose as her pallbearers will be Darby Jurls, Tyler Daigle, Chuck Jurls, Joel Daigle, Jordy Daigle and Tommy Dennis.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jackson Daigle.
