Wilda was born in Mermentau on Dec. 30, 1936, to Lurnie Thibodeaux and Volla Hulin Thibodeaux. She was called to her Heavenly Father on Feb. 7, 2022.

Wilda was a homemaker who dedicated her life to taking care of her family and was a longtime parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, as well as a member of the Ladies Altar Society.

She loved to quilt, crochet and make Christmas ornaments. Wilda never met a stranger and she loved to visit and drink coffee with family and friends.
