A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church for Toby Len Lanthier, 41, of Jennings on Friday, June 8, 2018, at 10 a.m.

Visitation will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Thursday, June 7, 2018, from 2:30-9 p.m., with a rosary recited by Deacon Mike Tramel at 6 p.m.

Toby will be laid to rest in St. Lawrence Cemetery, with Father Bill Miller officiating.

Toby Len was born in Jennings on Feb. 25, 1977, to Mr. Leonard and Mrs. Kathy Lanthier.

Toby passed away on June 5, 2018. He worked in the oilfield production industry. He loved making things and making people happy with anything he could help out with. Toby loved fishing and spending time with his children. Toby was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Toby is survived by his parents, Leonard and Kathy Lanthier of Hathaway; his son, Jagger Lanthier of Hathaway; two daughters, Darian Lanthier (Logan Planchard) of Lake Charles and Madison Lanthier of Lake Charles; his two sisters, Shannon Duhon and Tiffany Sparks (Steven), both of Hathaway; his paternal grandmother, Sylvia Langley of Tee-Mamou; the mother of his children, Kelsey Lege of Evangeline; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Toby was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Irance and Belva Fontenot; and paternal grandparent, J.B. Lanthier.

Carrying Toby to his final resting place will be his nephews, Taylor Sparks, Alex Sparks, Noah Duhon and Hayden Duhon; Toby’s first cousins, Brenten Lanthier and Ben Fontenot; and his nieces, Emma Sparks and Lexi Duhon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Sparks, Logan Planchard and Broc Fontenot.
