Gov. John Bel Edwards announced this week that beginning Monday, all Louisiana residents ages 16 and older will have the opportunity to receive COVID vaccines no matter their profession or medical conditions. Since vaccination distribution began in January, only those within certain tiers that focused on age, front-line work and medical issues were allowed to take the vaccines.
