Fantasy sports have shown an increase in popularity in recent years. A proposed Louisiana law would permit fantasy sports betting contests here if approved by two-thirds of voters in Jeff Davis Parish.
Voters in the parish will get the chance to decide on The Louisiana Fantasy Sports Contests Act that will be appearing on all ballots statewide Nov. 6.
