Louisiana’s early voting numbers for midterm elections are only 50,000 less than the turnout seen during the 2016 presidential race.
In Jeff Davis Parish alone, nearly 13 percent of the 21,050 registered voters cast early ballots. This included 2,304 people voting at the Registrar of Voters office in Jennings, and 323 mail-in ballots.
