Mother’s Day is a holiday to honor motherhood which is observed in different ways throughout the world. It’s a time to give thanks to the women who shaped and molded us into the people we are today.

I was feeling a bit under the weather this past week, so I ended up spending time at home in front of the television.

I am thankful for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and their efforts to protect human health by safeguarding the air we breathe, the water we drink and the land on which we live.

New Twitter owner Elon Musk is vowing to reform the social media platform. “Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated,” Musk said in a statement after his $44 billion bid to buy the company was accepted.
