The Alpha Tau Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa recently awarded the Catherine Romero Memorial Scholarship to Isabella Ardoin of Lacassine High School. She is the daughter of Ryan and Caitlin Ardoin of Lacassine.

The Louisiana Volunteers Family and Community held the 6th Annual Convention Day on April 14. The Great Louisiana Family Award was presented to Aline (left) and Jim Babineaux. Aline is an active member of the Jeff Davis VFC Homesteaders.

Ibought the green recipe file when I entered the ninth grade. It was a generic, metal file, necessary for home economics class. It probably cost less than a dollar at V. J. Elmore’s Five & Dime.
