Pellerin named Knight of the Month

During the May meeting of Knights of Columbus (KC) Council 2012 from Our Lady Help of Christians (OLHC) Parish in Jennings, Father Keith Pellerin (right) was recognized as the Council’s Knight of the Month for April 2023. KC District Deputy and Past Grand Knight Carl Benoit (left) presented the award to Pellerin after mass on May 25. Pellerin has been a Priest of the Roman Catholic Church for almost 25 years. He has been an active member of the Knights of Columbus since August 16, 1999 and is an honorary life member of the order and a Fourth Degree Knight. He currently serves asCouncil 2012’s Chaplain and as Faithful Friar for Monsignor Joseph Peeters Assembly #332 of the 4th Degree Knights.

LAHS graduate receives Focus Forward scholarship

WoodmenLife recently awarded Lake Arthur High School graduate Auto Breaux with the WoodmenLife Focus Forward Scholarship. Out of thousands of applicants, Breaux is one of only 15 $2500 level recipients.
