Sometimes I scare even myself. Shortly after we moved to North Florida, I developed a keen appreciation for palmetto fronds, noting how nicely they work in arrangements of greenery.

Members of Jeff Davis Parish Chamber of Commerce recently performed a ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of Bayou Babies Academy of Lake Arthur, a Type III learning center. Bayou Babies Academy of Lake Arthur is part of the Jeff Davis Parish Ready Start Network, which was established as a way to prepare parish children for Kindergarten.
