James currently serves as the Council’s Warden. James has been a member of the Knights since 1974 and is an Honorary Life Member of the Order and a Third Degree Knight. James and Tammy are outstanding cooks who have done an excellent job preparing delicious side dishes for Our Lady Help of Christians Parish’s Annual Catholic Daughters/ Knights of Columbus Awards Banquet. They also prepared the meal for the 4th Degree Knights when Council 2012 hosted the meetings of Msgr. Peters Assembly eight times over the last six years, including the meeting in January. On Sept. 25, 2020, James and a group of Brother Knights from the Council prepared a meal at St. Rafael Catholic Church in Iowa to support those adversely impacted by Hurricane Laura. In addition, they have, on several occasions, supported the supply distribution centers operated on a monthly basis at St. Mary’s Center.
