During the April meeting of Knights of Columbus Council 2012 from Our Lady Help of Christians (OLHC) Parish in Jennings the family of Debbie and Mason Lejeune was recognized as the Council’s Family of the Month for March 2021.

As I typed up the details for an upcoming “marriage renewal” workshop, it occurred to me that the decision to marry comes with absolutely no mandatory instructions.

As seasons change, there’s often a great deal of shuffling and movement, including common allergy triggers like trees, pollen, mold spores, dust and dander along with pesky sinus pressure. Combined with changes in barometric pressure and weather patterns bouncing up and down, spring can be one big pain – literally.

“Are you sure?”

It was nothing short of a race to get me from the state of Florida to my childhood home – some 300 miles away – before the sun set. I was traveling alone and, while I don’t always worry about nightfall, I wasn’t keen on entering a house I hadn’t seen for two months, during the dark of the night.

Healthy foods that are rich in vegetables and low in animal fats can help people reduce their cancer risk.

Science influences many aspects of daily life in countless ways. It also helps shape the development of life skills from an early age. As children learn to communicate, think critically, make predictions and form opinions based on their observations, they are developing science skills that will last a lifetime.
