After months of unfamiliar restrictions and guidelines, pandemic fatigue is affecting how some Americans protect their health.

Jeff Davis 4-H Dairy Club members participated in the LSU State 4-H FFA Livestock Show held on Feb. 12-14 at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales.

Camille Sonnier was this year’s recipient of the 4-H Superintendents Award for Livestock Achievement. This award was presented during the LSU State 4-H Livestock Show held at Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales from Feb 12-14.

You may have heard of “GMO” foods before, but what you may not know is the science and purpose behind them. “GMO” is a common term used to describe foods that have been created through genetic engineering. A GMO (genetically modified organism) is a plant, animal or microorganism that has had its genetic material (DNA) changed using technology that generally involves the transfer of specific DNA from one organism to another.
