KCs Donate to CCSWLA

The Jennings High School faculty celebrated the holiday season with matching outfits. The shirts were gifts from the JHS administration, and each department sported its own design. Jeff Cook, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Jennings, spoke to members of the Jeff Davis Republican Women about a food bank ministry that the church has had for the last five years. They have partnered with Second Harvest to distribute nutritious groceries such as dry, canned and fresh produce. Approximately $70 worth of food is given out to the neediest of the needy each month, regardless of race, religion or background. They have 700 clients who currently qualify.
