New library annex to host back-to-school bingo

The Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury has denied a request for a rezoning classification of 15022 Abell Rd. in Welsh from A1 agriculture to C1 commercial by BLG Investments LLC. The jury again received comments on the matter during another packed public hearing Wednesday after the matter was discussed during last week’s zoning committee meeting.
