The Jennings City Council approved an ordinance this week to establish minimum requirements and regulations for the placement, construction and modifications of solar power plants in the city.

The Jeff Davis Parish Tourism Commission is looking forward as board members recently discussed events and plans for expanded attractions in the parish.
